Mark,
Kudo's on all your effort here. Its great to swing by every few months and see what's happening.
I'm out in the Seattle area now - about 2 years now. Kari and I both wanted to get out West closer to the mountains and skiing. Boys are both in school (K and 2) and learning to ski this season. Fun to watch. Spend most of my time in the Cascades when not working/travelling - Climbed Mt Rainier last year and attempts on Baker, St. Helens and Mt Hood this year.
Kari's 20th reunion is this summer (East- I joined with the dark side...) and although it probably sucks as a spouse, I can at least represent Yo!
Please give my love to Dar and a hearty HELLO to all!
Regards, Dave B

Mark,
Thanks again for this. If it were not for this website I would not have known about Tim. We were friends in Jr. High but not so much at Central. We went different ways but he was always nice when I saw him.
This is Kurt Johnson. I have a 14 year old at St. Paul Central with 2300 other students! Talk about scary. She has gotten along well in band and such. What scares me is dating. So far no big loves, but I am not looking forward to that.
My wife Connie and I are just plugging along with life. Lots of work, I am still and investigator with the state and we still run our auction business. Time to play is the shortest commodity.
Take care all and be in peace.
Kurt

I don't know if anyone is interested or not, but it looks like the High School we attended will be closed and only East and Denfeld will remain open. I must admit I have not paid extra close attention, not having to worry about it, but it still is kind of a sad thing to hear. I am sure the school district could make a nice chunk of ching by selling the land that Central sits on. That is all for now!

I hate that our school is closing. It's a long history coming to an end. But, I'm not too surprised. The campus was not in great condition the last time I saw it.
On my end, things are still busy. I've finished my coursework for the doctorate and am now beginning the dissertation. Give me another year and I'll begin to see daylight. On the positive front, I have found a superintendent's position. I start next month as the superintendent of schools for Penelope ISD. It is a very small school district locate just outside of nowhere. But, I wanted to get out into the country and I'm really excited.

Good luck Scott!!
We just got back from the Black Hills! Mt Rushmore is awesome and a bit emotionally overwhelming. I had never been there before and I think it meant more for me to go there as an adult than it would have if I went as a kid. Those 4 guys are incredible!

alright everyone! I have to share with you how awesome the Police concert was on July 3 at the Excel Energy Center. All I can say is amazing..... especially Sting.
I brought my 17 year old daughter Briana with me. I felt like a teenager again. We bought matching tee shirts and shared binoculars. it was so fun.
Hope everyone is fine.

I'm happy for ya Dawn! We turned down an invite to go with some friends and then got to hear about how awesome it was and it was like they never were apart, and then I felt bad we didn't go. Oh well, maybe they will be like the Stones and keep touring for a few more years, then maybe I will get to see them.

Hey everybody!!!! Sure glad your on the ball Mark. Thanks for setting up this site. I have many stories to tell, but just an update for now. I'm married, have 3 kids (Stephanie-16, Tommy 13, and Cecily 17), own my own business,(DAVE'S GARAGE,L.L.C.), and often think about the class of 1984. Life is GREAT now, but growing up in Duluth was awesome. I remember everyone just as the were when we graduated and looking at the reunion photos I can see there have been some changes. I moved to Albuquerque New Mexico in 1986 and started a "new life". There have been a few bumps in the road but I'm happy to say it's smooth sailing now. I had drinks with Heidi (Mershon) and her husband Craig a few years ago at Grizzly's in Duluth. It was nice to see a friendly face during my visit as I hardly see anyone I know when I'm there. I spoke with Kelly (Davey) at reunion time and she seems to be doing well. I even exchanged e-mails with Michelle (Villones) Hard to believe it's been 23 years since graduation! So much to say and so little time.....Best wishes to everyone and I look forward to exchanging stories in the future.

Just saw the news about the bridge in Mnpls collapsing, and made me think about my Minnesota peeps - hope everyone and their families/friends are ok! Thanks, Mark, for keeping this website up and running. Here's promising to stay in touch better in the days ahead! Me? Still living in Chicago, staying busy teaching, performing, and golfing again, too! Tom Matta www.thomasmatta.com

Hello everyone! I was excited to see some new entries.
The collapse of the bridge on 35W was a shock for us. In case no one has realized it... LIFE CAN BE SHORT!
Gerald and I have been busy, as I am sure everyone else knows where I am going with this.
Hitting the forty year old range have changes our perspective of life. Time continues to pass, the years a zoomed by and we have began to fell the "empty nest" thing a little bit with our girls......frightening.
Briana is 17 years, graduating next year. Jessica is 15 years as will soon be driving (February).
Miss Duluth dearly. Can t lie.... Gerald and I have thought about selling it all to move back, but it is hard when you have deep roots in the community and your children have attachments with school and friends. Maybe some day... not today.
Take care and I hope everyone is well. Dawn

Hey everyone - is there a list of all the forum members anywhere? It would be cool to see all whom are lurking around here...
