Hi Everyone!
Michele I would happy to try to plan a Girls Night while you are home. They are very casual and I just usally pick a date and put it out there for anyone who wants to attend, we usually have a pretty decent group each time. Either way we have fun! Let me know what would be a good night while you're home and I'll get moving on it that way everyone can get it on their calendars early. Also for anyone else that's interested I do this via e-mail so if you'd like to be included in the e-mails automatically in the future please get me your e-mail address and I'll put you on the list. My e-mail is angie.bozich@dobson.net.
By the way last Friday's girls night was a blast! Hope to see some new faces next time.
Angie (Beichler)

What's up these days with Dar and me?
Well, we've now got another driver in the house. Yes, Alyssa just got her driver's permit a few days ago, and we've already been out on the roads with her sharing our "wisdom" with her (and hopefully not too many of our bad habits). During her driver's ed classes, I asked her if they showed any of those grisley 1950's "scare films" (like "Signal 30") we were subjected to back at Central Driver's Ed (with Mr. Marx). She said they didn't...thank goodness.
Speaking of Mr. Marx, is he still around, or did he pass away? He seemed pretty old at the time, but then again, every teacher seemed "old" when we were teenagers.

FYI: In case any of you missed it, Jodi Fish's daughter died in the tornado that went thru Rogers, MN a week and a half ago. She was 10-years old. I was able to attend the funeral with Angie, Heidi and Deb. Even being more on the side, the whole thing was very draining. My thoughts and prayers are definitely with Jodi and her family. I hope this link works: www.legacy.com/duluthsuperior/DeathNotices.asp?Page=SearchResultsIf not, it is in the Duluth News Tribune dated 9/19/06. Jodi's husband, Randy Wendt ahead of us in school. I believe he was Rob's brother. Just a sad, sad thing.

Wow....he sure had a nice long run. The guy was probably in his early 60's when we went to Washington, so he must have been well into his 80's.
Great guy.....though he was pretty generous with the "meat head" insults to his students (I was the proud recipient of at least one "You meat head!").

Tim Korpi passed away on Monday - January 8th. I know I went to Woodland with him, and I do not remember if he went to Central. (20 years ago I would have remembered). Can anyone answer this question for me?

Okay - we did graduate with Tim Korpi. I guess I remember him more from Woodland than Central.

Thanks Mark for keeping up such a great site On the more happy news front, we are getting ready for Aly to graduate, she's made a decision on college, and although I'm disappointed she wont be coming to my univ., she's made a positive decision. She's decided to stay home for the first year. Can't argue with that, we are happy to have her for another year

I appreciate you keeping this site up Mark. I know there are not a lot of visitors right now, but I check it all the time to see if anything has been posted.
I can't speak for anyone else, but when I hear about our classmates passing away, it really gets to me. Even those I didn't know that well.
On my end, things are moving along pretty well. I finish all my coursework this May (hopefully). Then, it's just the dissertation. My dissertation is a study of the current use of school facilities constructed by the National Youth Administration in Texas while under the direction of LBJ. I know y'all want to know how it turns out, but you'll just have to wait for the movie.
Also, I'm finally getting to add onto my woodshop. I'll enjoy the extra space for storing wood.
Again Mark, I can't express thanks enough for keeping this site.

Nice to hear from all of you. Like I said elsewhere, I'm happy to help out with the website. It gives me a chance to play with all the cool tools out there now for web design, so it's actually alot of fun (especially now that we can do video stuff).
Yeah, our oldest will be turning 16 in only a few weeks, and she's currently training toward her driver's license. She's a wonderful driver....but so many other people AREN'T! That's the problem! (sigh) Oh well, I guess that's all part of "letting go".
As for Tim, I don't know what the cause of his death was, but I suppose it's really none of my business. Anytime someone dies at a relatively young age, it's never a good death (weather it's an accident, a long illness, or whatever). It didn't appear from the obituary that he had children, which makes it just a little bit easier to take (at least for me). Hope that didn't sound too weird, and I apologize if it did.
Anyway, thanks for stopping by and take care, everyone!

Gee - my oldest (and youngest) just turned five. You would think it would keep us feeling younger, but she can really poop us out!
Thanks for the new site Mark - I guess you can nix the e-mail I sent you.
