Dawn - we were in that class together.....I have a couple books to read now - something about the secret life of bees and the there one is about Christmas (saving it or finding it). Some day I might get to read them. The Davinci Code just looks so overwhelmingly HUGE! I only get in about 2 books a year, wish it was more. I did read all the Harry Potter books up to the latest one (too big). I enjoyed them, but never was able to get into the Lord of the Rings...... You should look into joining a book club!

For any of you gals who are interested, we have been trying to get together every couple months or so. I have only made it to one which was at Grizzlys in Superior - it was before Christmas. You need not be concerned about whether you will know everyone or not. The group of gals was quite diverse, not all from the same "high school social circles". It was fun to catch up with everyone in a bit smaller setting than at the reunion!! The next scheduled get together is set for Friday March 11th at Old Chicago between 5:30 and 6:00[/b] and stay as long as you can or want to.....Angie (Beichler) Bozich has been the ringleader for these nights and if you would like to contact her she can be e-mailed at Angie.Bozich@Dobson.netTHE MORE THE MERRIER!!!!TEXT

Tiz - I remember! I think I sat right next to Ms Fahrion's desk - or right up in front, and you were on the other side of the room? I think Anita was also in that class - which is probably why I sat where I did. You should try the Davinci code - I never thought I'd finish it either, but I couldn't put it down and finished it in 4 days!!! Of course my house looked like a bomb went off because all I was doing was sitting on the couch with a book in my face. We have all of the Harry Potter books - maybe I'll try one of them. A book club sounds like a good idea too.
Let me know if there's ever a get together on a weekend. I'd love to go! We're in Duluth quite often. I work weekends once in a while at Spirit Mt so we could get ski passes at an affordable price this year. I either work or watch the little ones while Mike and the girls board/ski. I got to ski once this year, and blew out my knee, so I'm done for the season. Surgery in a month - YUK!

Dawn - a bum knee is a good excuse to read! Maybe I will try it. The Davinci Code, that is. But that could mean late nights! and I mean LATE! The March get together is on a Friday - if that is close enough to a weekend? But we can definitely take a weekend night into consideration! Do you guys not live in Duluth?

Hi Tiz - We have lived in the cities (Burnsville) since '94. We've seriously considered moving back to Duluth a few times, but have not been able to make it happen for various reasons. I have come to love living here, and am not sure if I could adjust to life up North again. I like to visit though! I'm sure you'll enjoy the Davinci Code! Good reading!!

Okay Dawn - I am going to try the Davinci Code, after I read Skipping Christmas by John Grisham..It is small and I just started it, only because my daughter, for some reason, got SICK and it is a small book. She wanted to be in the same room with me, but no tv, so I know she is sick, besides, I will get one book under my belt for this year.

Hey there ya'll! Been a long time since I've hit the message boards, just checking to see how everyone has been! Tiz, glad to see you haven't given up on Kenny! We are finally settling in to life in Tennessee! The mountains are GREAT! We've gotten to do some fun stuff... we took the kids white water rafting on the Ocoee (where they filmed deliverance) What a BLAST! Hopefully for fall break we'll get to go hang gliding... but *sigh* I still miss Florida.... nothing replaces the Everglades! We gave Aly her first car... She much prefers driving an SUV to school than taking a school bus (how underclassman can you get) We are also getting ready to start ACTS and SATS.. I can't believe it, only seems like yesterday I was procrastinating about studying for mine! Hope to hear from you soon!

Michele- Great to hear things are going well in Tennessee. We got the e-photos of you and the family, and you all look great. Dar and I just moved into the "high school scene" this year with Alyssa starting 9th grade. In fact, this Friday is her high school's Homecoming game (with Alyssa playing in the band). Of course, that brings back many, many fond memories of our own Homecoming games "way back when"....and it's neat seeing your own kid getting to experience something similar. This parenting thing is pretty nifty.

Hi All,
I'm a lurker from the Class of 1986. You all have a great website. I was just admiring Mark's work. We're currently working on getting our Class Reunion site and I've pointed them in the direction of this website and others for ideas. Great job, it's nice to see how my fellow upper class persons are doing.
I just wanted to say hello to all of you and Ms. Fahrion if she's reading. I too thought you were an inspiring teacher and you rank among the top teachers at Central H.S.

Simone: "hi" and YES! Mark has done an awesome job with this site!
Mark: high shool? we are right behind ya (ha-ha)
Michele: say "hi" to Kenny for me (you never know). Bet it is a relief to be out of Florida right now. Hopefully Wilma will pull a Rita and die down.
Dawn/Ms. Fahrion: finished The Kite Runner. To me it was a very sad story, yet very enlightening on what has actually been going on over there.
Next on the list: Ali and I are building a fort out in the woods..sahe is really into it.
Scot: how is the studying/homework going?

Forgot to mention - Girls Night out is on October 28th (Friday) at Old Chicago - come early, stay late....people usually start showing up after they get off work. It is definitely not restricted to 84 Central grads.

Hey Tiz,
I'm going to keep a lookout for your next girls night out. Perhaps, I'll be in town to get to one of them. How are you? Nice hearing from you.
Take care, Simone
